What is the Bastrop County Young Republicans?
The Bastrop County Young Republicans (BCYR) is a civic, political and educational organization engaging in grassroots mobilization. For five years in a row, the organization has aided the Bastrop County Food Pantry and has contributed to numerous other local civic organizations. Their efforts have assisted the Bastrop County Animal Shelter, Bastrop County Pregnancy Center, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), and The Children’s Advocacy Center. A civil society that values contributions by private individuals to charitable organizations is essential for raising the standard of living and tackling crucial issues.
BCYR encourages more participants to become involved with the organization and the Bastrop County Republican Party. They support an environment that is conducive to a healthy and meaningful discussion within BCYR and BCRP. The organization advocates for accountability, limited government, fiscal responsibility, family values, state and local autonomy. Since 2012, BCYR has been committed to making a positive impact in Bastrop County.
